Rocking Horse Ranch - March 2013

We just spent a great couple of days at Rocking Horse Ranch Resort for spring break this year. We had so much fun. Some of the highlights included a horse drawn carriage ride, snow tubing, indoor water park with kiddie slides, indoor bouncy house and air powered NERF cannons. And the food was pretty good too because every night they had a chocolate fountain (Simon's favorite).

Snow!

You know how it is. You spend 45 minutes putting on the snowsuit to be out in the snow for 5 minutes. Yep Sam delivered on that promise :)

Luckily, Simon enjoyed the snow a bit more.

A Christmas Miracle! Sam Walks! :)

Continuing in the tradition of doing something extra special on a holiday, Sam figured out how to walk on Christmas (Simon walked on Thanksgiving)! Here is Sam walking and quite happy with himself!

This year proved to be a great holiday season!

We enjoyed trimming the tree:

We enjoyed taking countless pictures for our holiday card :)

We enjoyed lighting the menorahs (yes we had 3 this year!)

We enjoyed baking cookies and checking out the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center

And of course we enjoyed opening presents!

Sam turns 1!

Has it been a year already?! It seems like only yesterday, our little lightning bolt zoomed into the world and today he turned 1.

Sammy enjoyed a great day at the Prospect Park Zoo with mommy and daddy. He also enjoyed his new tunnel and some yummy homemade cupcakes with his friends from the building.

We can't wait for many many more birthdays with our little guy!

Happy Thanksgiving, 2012!

It was a Thanksgiving / birthday extravaganza this year (and probably for many years to come)! We celebrated both boys' birthdays with the families and enjoyed a delicious dinner courtesy of FreshDirect.
