Happy Holidays! Hanukkah and Christmas, 2012

This year proved to be a great holiday season!

We enjoyed trimming the tree:

We enjoyed taking countless pictures for our holiday card :)

We enjoyed lighting the menorahs (yes we had 3 this year!)

We enjoyed baking cookies and checking out the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center

And of course we enjoyed opening presents!

Sam turns 1!

Has it been a year already?! It seems like only yesterday, our little lightning bolt zoomed into the world and today he turned 1.

Sammy enjoyed a great day at the Prospect Park Zoo with mommy and daddy. He also enjoyed his new tunnel and some yummy homemade cupcakes with his friends from the building.

We can't wait for many many more birthdays with our little guy!

Happy Thanksgiving, 2012!

It was a Thanksgiving / birthday extravaganza this year (and probably for many years to come)! We celebrated both boys' birthdays with the families and enjoyed a delicious dinner courtesy of FreshDirect.

Simon Turns 4!

It' good to be 4!

Simon had a great birthday party at Kidville on Saturday (boy do they make it easy for mommy and daddy!). The pirate themed party had lots of buddies, treasure and loot.

Simon also had a great time at school on Monday, his actual birthday. He was king for a day, had some delicious homemade cupcakes and even had mommy and daddy participate in the class reading.

Sam at 11 Months!

Sam turned 11 months yesterday! He loves playing and is so good at entertaining himself (especially by rolling things and crawling after them).

Apple Picking, 2012!

Simon had a wonderful time apple picking today. Unfortunately, Sam was sick so he and Susan stayed home. Mark and Simon visited Terhune Orchards with our friends (and one of Simon's best buds, Leila).
