Simon's First July 4th

We spent July 4th in Harrisburg this year.

We had a blast seeing the Linglestown "firework" and seeing grandma and grandpa. We also enjoyed a fantastic pool party. It was Simon's first time in a big pool and he loved it.

Simon's First Beach Excursion

On Wednesday and Thursday, Mark, Simon and I headed down to the Jersey Shore. It wasn't the best beach weather but we were able to meet up with our friends Shane and Nancy and their 2 little ones, Emmett (who's 3.5) and Daphne (who was turning 1). It was also Simon's first beach excursion. He loved seeing the ocean and sticking his toes in the sand. He also thought the sand was deeee-licious. Click on Simon to see some pictures from our trip.

Simon On The Move

Simon has crawled but for some reason he loves to make things difficult on himself. Here he is scooting around on his tummy, his preferred method of locomotion.

Simon's second favorite method of movement is "walking" - with help of course. Here he is taking a few steps.

Simon loves to eat as we have established earlier. Here he is eating his baby puffs.

Simon at 7 Months

Has it really been another month?! Simon turned 7 months today!

Although he is not crawling yet, he is on the move. He scoots around pretty quickly on his tummy and can push himself up into a crawling position, rock back and forth, and then goes back onto his tummy.

When he isn't practicing crawling, Simon is scooting around in his new walker. Here is our happy little guy.

Swimming Fun In Harrisburg

Simon and I just returned from a nice visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Harrisburg. In between bouts of rain, Simon got to use the baby pool and LOVED it!

It was a lovely day yesterday so we all decided to visit Brooklyn Botanical Garden (BBG) to check out the beautiful flowers. Simon enjoyed the wonderful sites and smells and he especially loved the roses. Click on Simon to see more pictures from our great day.
