Simon At 12 Weeks

Simon is 12 weeks old today! Time really flies. What's new in the world of Simon...
He is using his hands a lot more. Not only does he love to put them in his mouth and suck on them very loudly, he is also getting better at grasping objects. He is also learning how to move an object from one hand to the other and eventually, put it in his mouth.
Today was beautiful outside so we took advantage of the nice weather and went for a stroll. Here is Simon at 12 weeks in his new shades

Simon's First Play Date

Simon had his first playdate today with Cecilia, another cutie from Park Slope.
Cecilia and her mom Tara joined Mark, Simon and Susan for a stroll in Prospect Park.

Simon's First Super Bowl

Simon enjoyed his first Super Bowl between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He wore the jersey of his favorite quarterback, Big Ben Roethlisberger and was very happy with the outcome!

The Grandparents Visit

This past weekend, Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Marvin visited from Harrisburg. We all had a fun, baby filled weekend!
Simon really enjoyed all of the attention showered upon him and especially enjoyed it when all 4 grandparents were there .

Simon is 8 Weeks Old - UPDATE

UPDATE...Simon did well with the shots. The baby Tylenol helped and he was able to get some sleep (and me too ).

Simon is 8 Weeks Old

Simon is 8 weeks old today. Time really flies.
For his 8th week, the weather proved to be quite chilly so we had to bundle him up to transport him to the doctor for his 2 month check up (and shots).
Here he is getting all ready:

Simon is now up to 10 pounds 7 ounces and is 23.25 inches long.
He took his shots well but isn't feeling so good now. Hopefully the baby Tylenol will kick in and make him feel better.

Week 7

It was a busy week for Simon. Not only did he go for a few walks but he also got to experience bottle feeding from daddy and oma. Bottle feeding was much easier than the other way but he was often left with a milk hangover.
